On my latest visit to Uganda in December 2004, I met Daniel Ssettaba who is the founder of Roots Afrika. Some time after this visit, Daniel coached Forest Whitaker for his role as Ida Amin and Forest credits Daniel with helping him a great deal in portraying the character.

Although he's Ugandan, he wrote a Rwandan song Sandra & Daniel Singing
which he and Karigirwa (my African daughter) sang together so beautifully.
