 Only two weeks after she had a brain haemorrhage, my adopted daughter, Karigirwa
Sandra showed great courage, strength and love of her fellow man by
performing at an Aids benefit concert with multi-award winning internationally acclaimed recording
Gospel artiste Kay Morris in Kampala, Uganda. Originally from Jamaica,
Kay now lives in Canada and contacted me as
she wanted a music video of her song "When You Cry" which is a
song about orphans, Aids and
suffering. We shot at the very lovely Alice Keck Park. It took about 20
hours to shoot and produce. Nine different "angles" were shot
with Kay wearing
3 different beautiful African outfits and I shot a long, medium and close up of each. They
were then synced and appropriate angles chosen. The
huge challenge was that Kay only had a very few still
images which were essential in helping tell the story. So I had to do an exhaustive search and find most
